The WGPT is a combination of both golf & poker
played on one day in once exciting, fun filled tournament. A
maximum of 120 players compete to accumulate the most
points in both events. The emphasis on this tournament
is that you don’t have to be great at just golf
or just poker – but you do have to be good at
both!
The format will allow everyone from the pro golfer
to well established amateurs to compete with the same
in the poker arena for an overall First Place Champion. Tournaments
will be held at various locations on the third Tuesday
of each month commencing June 17th, 2008 with the season
ending May 12th 2009.
The WGPT is open to members and non members of NGU
Sports.
NGU Sports will mail all prize money to winners within
10 business days, provided that all entry money has
been cleared. There will be prizes awarded to
the top 12 places with the first place win guaranteed
at $20,000. All other place prizes will be determined
and based on the number of final entries.
WGPT will administer 1099’s and report to the Internal
Revenue Service accordingly.
